Men of Valor (Men’s Ministry):

The purpose of the ministry is to provide spiritual guidance to the men of Mt. Pleasant through discipleship programs. In addition, we provide monthly fellowship for the men that create an atmosphere for ministry.

This ministry is a group of men who are dedicated and committed to God His Son, Jesus, with the purpose of disciplining young men to have character, confidence and commitment in their relationship with God and others.

Women of Rhema (Women’s Ministry): First Lady Minister

Idella Fullwood

The purpose of the Women of Rhema Women's Ministry is the help the women of the church deepen their personal relationship with the Lord and to assist them in understanding the Biblical role of women and how this relates to their daily lives.  The ministry endeavors to build self esteem and confidence in women by showing them how God has created them in His image.  WOR will pray and intercede together, encourage and serve others, helping them to become established within the "body" of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Ministries.

Couples Ministry: Deacon & Minister Roscoe and Jacqueline Howard

The purpose of the Couples Ministry is to married couples and those engaged to be married. The ministry consists of teaching, counseling, workshops, seminars, panel discussions, and annual retreat geared toward teaching principles of marriage from the Word of God, as well as social activities to enhance relationships. The goal of the ministry is to build strong marriages by using the blueprints God has given us.

Singles Ministry: Tonya Bennett

The purpose is to minister to unmarried Christian adults who are seeking to learn more about God’s Word and their mission; to challenge singles to go to a higher level in Christ by taking a stand against the schemes of the enemy and becoming singles of purpose.

Surrendered Wives Ministry: Ms. Dorcas C. Beatty

The purpose for this ministry is to be specifically for wives praying for unsaved husbands or having difficulty in their marriage to uplift and encourage our sisters in Christ.  This ministry will assist wives of husbands who may not be saved to strengthen women wholeheartedly to survive in and out of season.
