First Lady Fullwood

Minister Idella M. Fullwood is the First Lady of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Ministries, the wife of Bishop Varnie N. Fullwood, Sr. Ph.D. God has blessed their union with four wonderful children: Jennifer (Darrell), Varnie, Jr. (Jacqueline), Derrick, and Sheba. They also have four grandchildren: Jasmine, Jalisa, Jordan and Varnie Nell Fullwood III.

Minister Fullwood has labored diligently in the ministry of Christ since her youth and accepted her call to preach the Gospel in the year 2000. She is indeed a woman of integrity and virtue who actively lives the Word that she proclaims. It is her belief that the women of God are to walk daily as Kingdom women (Hebrews 12:1). She would have the women of God to know that we have been destined to make a positive impact in somebody's life! "It's not all about us."

Minister Fullwood is a graduate of the Sampson County College of Theology. She has received both her Associate and Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Theology and is currently working to obtain her Graduate Degree of Arts in Theology. She is the chairperson of the Women of Rhema Ministry of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Ministries and the president of the Gospel Choir. Minister Fullwood is a role model for those women who have been fortunate enough to know her.
